The Joe Louis Greenway Partnership invites you to Ride for Safety - a free, family-friendly event focused on bike safety, community connection, and wellness on wheels.

Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: 7241 McDonald Street, Detroit, MI 48210

Whether you're a daily commuter, weekend cruiser, or just starting out, this event offers something for everyone.

Event Highlights:

  • Guided community bike ride along the Joe Louis Greenway

  • Bike safety mini-classes and demonstrations for all ages

  • Meet-and-greet with local bike clubs, shops, and cycling advocates

  • Free giveaways: helmets, reflectors, lights, and more

  • Food and beverage available on-site

  • Raffle of 10 free bikes in partnership with Back Alley Bikes
